Bobby was born at the TA truck stop in Wheeling WV. Since his birth, he has grown into quite a character. He spreads his unique humor and insights into everyday life out here on the road. He is a satirical kinda guy who shows what can and sometimes does happen out here on the road. It might be a bit exaggerated at times but it sometimes something everyone can relate to.
I get a lot of comments about Mr. Boofay. A lot of people have told me that when they need a pick-me-up at the end of a crappy day, they have to watch a Bobby Boofay video to get themselves “straight”. I have also have folks tell me, one in particular, that after the loss of his father, he watched a Bobby video and it was exactly what he needed to get his mind off the last few days. It made him realize that there is still things to laugh about and life can still be fun.
There is too much doom and gloom in the world and I like to keep a good attitude all the time. If I can brighten your day with some Bobby Boofay, or just one person’s day, then I think that all the time and effort I put into it is worth it. Having people tell me what Bobby has done for them just makes my day and makes me feel good about what I’m doing with him. A few haters have told me to ditch him and that he’s a bad image for the truck driving community. Well, I think he is doing more good than harm and if you can’t laugh at yourself then you are just a miserable person. 
Bobby is a good hearted person who just wants to help brighten your day. He’s a little confused at times but his heart is in the right place. I hope that you can see part of yourself or someone you know in one of his videos.
