Richie Acosta’s East Coast Large Car Show

We were invited to go to the recent truck show in Augusta, NJ by Richie Acosta.  He has a show called East Coast Largecars that has become an annual event.  This years show was held at the Sussex county fairgrounds in Augusta and what a great place to hold an event.    

There were a myriad of activities going on that would interest just about anyone.  From show and shine to miniature r/c truck and trailers, custom show rigs, custom work trucks, a horse show, lots of great outside rides and games for children, great food, music from a great band and lots of friendly people.  Chris T was there from roaddog Sirius radio along with a bunch of other exhibitors.  Jones Performance had a booth there that was very impressive with it’s huge awning that covered some great custom parts for your big rig.   

It was a laid back kind of show that made anyone feel comfortable and at ease.  No stress and strife here whatsoever.  It was the kind of show that made you feel like you were on vacation and we had a ball hanging out there.   

The man responsible for putting on the show, Richie Acosta, made sure that everyone was comfortable with their booths and had everything they needed.  He worked hard putting on the show and it reflected on the faces and attitude of all of the vendors and attendees.  Everything went very smooth and Richie stayed busy making sure everything stayed that way during the show.  He was a very gracious host for sure and we will be sure to make it back there next year.   

The people of New Jersey are some of the friendliest people that you could ever meet up with.  I’ve always liked going up there because it seems we always make a friend or two on each trip and we made a whole bunch of them this time.    If you get the chance to make it up there for next year please do because you will be so glad that you did.  Here are some pictures of the show and the fun that we had up there.
