Jazzy has made it through much of North Carolina and will soon be running into Virginia. New York City is so close! Her Journey has not been easy but with the support of many, she has certainly come a long way!
Watching Jazzy Run
I Have personally seen first hand the physical pain that she endures every day and I can honestly say ”I have been humbled”. Watching her deal with this pain and the emotional stress that accompanies would break anyones heart. The look in her eyes and the occasional tear that rolls down her face, she hides well and she “keeps on truckin”!

It’s just jazzy and her Dad out here. Loneliness has to be dealt with as her Mother, Paulette Jordan has Jordan Pilot Cars to run and the rest of her family and friends are back home. She is missed so much, but manages to keep it together because she has a job to finish. That Job, not one that was given to her but one that she chose for herself, to make Americans aware of the suffering that many Truckers endure due to the lack of adequate and affordable insurance.

We received the finished mix of “Thank You Jazzy” Wednesday evening shortly after the Grothe family arrived in Louisville to surprise Jazzy. They traveled all the way from Minnesota and what a teary eyed reunion it was! We were thrilled to be able to all share in the moment of listening to the finished mix of this very special song together.
I have to say that it was an honor to be asked to write this song. I’m still very shocked that it only took about 30 minutes to write. It is hard to explain but I’m thinking that the inspiration was so powerful that the message I needed to get out just poured!
The people that I worked with in Nashville at Truckers Tracks were so inspired that several of them do
nated their time to work on this song and we are all very grateful for this. They were able to edit and mix a very beautiful arrangement in just a few days.
We have made this song available for download with 100% of the proceeds going to the St. Christophers Fund in Jazzy’s Name. There are three other songs also available for download with 25% going to the fund.

Jasmine (Jazzy) Jordan started a journey across America in September of 2009 and her final destination is New York City. WHY, you may ask. Well, she was deeply touched when she lost a very close friend of the family to cancer. This very close friend of hers was part of the Trucking Family. She was unable to get the care and treatment she needed because of a lack of insurance.
As we all know there are many truckers that have little or no health insurance. What do we do in this situation? How do we get the treatment we need to stay healthy enough to provide for our families or even stay alive? This is a wide spread problem in this country with many truckers and their families losing everything they have because the bread-winner in the family is a trucker with little or no health coverage. Health insurance for most of us in the trucking industry is either unavailable or unaffordable and can sometimes leave us in devastating situations.
The Saint Christopher Fund was set up to help truckers that find themselves in these desperate situations. Jazzy is Running across America to increase awareness of this problem and she is urging people to donate what ever they can to The Saint Christopher Fund. She is helping to save lives!
